A global industrial power solutions company is looking for an Industrial Senior Application Engineer. The selected candidate will develop and implement market strategies, provide technical assistance, and support growth in the industrial business sector.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain customer technical specifications for industrial products and systems in Japan
• Implement market strategies to expand presence and drive sales growth
• Provide technical assistance to customers to achieve or exceed sales forecasts, especially with OEMs
• Take ownership of customer programs, ensuring their success
• Develop and execute tactical and strategic technology plans to meet sales and performance goals
• Prepare and present solutions to create product awareness and understanding
• Conduct technical seminars for distributors, integrators, and OEMs on current and new products
• Build strong relationships with key customers to enhance satisfaction and long-term business
• Prepare technical proposals based on customer needs, aligning them with the company’s offerings
• Advise and influence customers to create and develop business opportunities
• Provide regular reports and monitor customer performance, taking corrective actions as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering
• More than 5 years of relevant industry experience
• High-level knowledge of industrial products and their applications
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, SAP, and other database systems
• Strong interpersonal and cooperative skills
• Possess a valid Hydraulic system adjustment technician certification is ideal
• Fluent level written and verbal Japanese and English
