フィールドアプリケーションエンジニア/ Field Applications Engineer

An international semiconductor manufacturer is looking for a Field Applications Engineer. The qualified applicant will collaborate with Sales to create and monitor a strategic plan to achieve key goals. This position is based in Tokyo.

Responsibilities:

• Visit customers regularly to identify new opportunities and address project concerns
• Serve as the central point of contact for problem-solving and test support during critical issues
• Provide memory architecture advice and technical training to customers
• Collaborate with marketing and development teams to assess new product feasibility
• Coordinate lab activities supporting the design and validation process

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering or related domains (Master’s is ideal)
• More than 5 years of experience in Architecture, Design, Field application engineering, or relevant field
• Experience in design and testing (wireless, computing, consumer, or networking)
• Prior experience in a customer-facing role in the automotive industry is preferred
• Understanding of memory and storage is a plus
• Fluent level verbal and written Japanese; business level verbal and written English
