An international digital marketing company is seeking a Social Media & Community Associate. The selected candidate will create and manage engaging social media content to strengthen brand awareness and foster community engagement among Japanese audiences. This is a hybrid setup and contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop social media content that engages business leaders, founders, and developers in Japan
• Plan, execute, and manage social posts across multiple Japanese platforms, including X, Facebook, and YouTube
• Support major product and market announcements through strategic digital storytelling
• Build and maintain relationships with influencers to enhance brand reach and credibility
• Conduct competitive analysis to refine social media strategy and strengthen positioning
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, product, and developer relations teams to maximise visibility
• Organise and support community meetups with cross-functional teams
• Build strong stakeholder relationships through effective communication and collaboration

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of experience in a technology-focused B2B environment
• Proven experience in social media management and community engagement
• Strong copywriting and design sense, with a deep understanding of Japan’s tech and digital landscape
• Fluent level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in B2B community building
• Strong network within Japan’s tech or startup ecosystem
