コミュニケーションマネージャー/ Communications Manager

An international financial services company is looking for a Communications Manager. The selected candidate will manage internal and external communications, media relations, and marketing-related initiatives to protect and promote the company’s reputation.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute communications plans, talking points, briefings, and internal/external content in English and Japanese
• Actively manage media relations and proactively identify media engagement opportunities
• Promote research offerings and key business initiatives to target media
• Advise internal stakeholders on narratives, messaging, and media strategies
• Plan and implement employee engagement campaigns and internal communications
• Coordinate with regional teams to ensure alignment across Asia Pacific
• Manage external vendors, media monitoring, subscriptions, and PR agency support
• Support marketing programs, including website updates and related deliverables

Requirements:

• More than 8 years of experience in corporate communications within multinational financial services or complex organisations
• Proven experience in media relations, internal communications, and content creation
• Skilled in strategic storytelling, messaging, and critical communications thinking
• Native level Japanese; fluent level English

Preferred requirements:

• Understanding of the banking and investment banking industry
