PRコンサルタント / PR Consultant

A renowned public affairs firm is looking for a PR Consultant. The selected candidate will support cross-sector clients on communication strategies related to social and policy issues. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Build stakeholder relationships across government, private sector, academia, and KOLs
• Monitor policies and collaborate with Government Relations teams
• Plan and deliver public-facing events, including symposiums and workshops
• Prepare proposals and manage contract discussions with prospective clients
• Lead project execution and guide team members
• Develop media strategies, manage interviews, and create communication content

Requirements:

• Experience in PR, including media relations and interview handling
• Knowledge in public/social issues (technology, environment, healthcare, human rights, international relations, etc.)
• Business level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in policy-related advocacy or government relations
• Prior experience in cross-sector collaboration (government, academia, private sector)
• Proven experience building relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
• Background in organising symposiums or workshops
• Prior policy monitoring background
• Proven digital background in social media management, website management, and content marketing
