A global food manufacturer is searching for an External Communication & Social Media Manager. The selected applicant will utilise social media for corporate brand building in collaboration with various functions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic external communication programs to promote the company as an employer of choice
- Collaborate with the Marketing team on brand PR activities
- Manage social media issues and other corporate reputation risks
- Integrate social media capability into the organization through guidelines, training, etc
- Lead purpose-related programs
- Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in your area of responsibility
- Articulate and escalate challenges that require support from upper management
- Proactively address identified gaps beyond your own responsibilities
- Lead Team Engagement and Talent Development within your sub-function
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- More than 8 years of experience in external communication, brand building, social media, and crisis communication
- Experience in project management
- Experience in planning and leading external communication programs
- Experience in utilising social media for brand building
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Fluent level written and verbal Japanese and English
