An international manufacturing company is looking for a Category Development Marketing Manager in the Consumer Business Group. The selected candidate will drive category growth, oversee portfolio strategies from NPI to product availability, and execute data-driven marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Adapt portfolio strategy and marketing plans for specific regions or countries
• Manage NPI pipeline and product launches
• Establish base pricing strategies to achieve standard margins and optimise profitability
• Develop price increase plans in response to cost changes or inflation
• Own campaign sales growth targets and decide launch timing based on channel readiness
• Implement local campaign strategies and define execution plans
• Analyse syndicated data to identify growth opportunities and lead market share initiatives
• Manage and track local activation budgets

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• More than 5 years of experience in category, consumer, or brand marketing in FMCG
• Prior experience leading marketing roles, including new product launches
• Experience collaborating with agencies and designers
• Proficient in data analysis and insights-driven decision making
• Basic P&L knowledge
• Native level Japanese; business level English
