マーケティングディレクター/ Marketing Director
A global fashion e-commerce company is seeking a Marketing Director. The selected applicant will lead the marketing strategy to grow brand awareness, market share, customer acquisition, and sales.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a holistic, data-driven marketing strategy aligning with global objectives and local consumer trends
- Conduct market research to identify key consumer segments, emerging trends, and competitor activities
- Set measurable marketing performance goals and manage the overall marketing budget
- Drive brand building and positioning efforts and oversee public relations and communication strategies
- Lead localisation of campaigns and content to resonate with Japanese consumers
- Manage and optimise all digital marketing channels, including SEM, SEO, paid social, display advertising, and affiliate marketing
- Build and manage influencer marketing strategy and identify strategic partnerships to expand reach
- Spearhead content strategy, including photography, videos, and editorial content, and optimise campaigns using analytics and CRM data
- Lead, mentor, and grow the marketing team while collaborating with global teams on brand alignment and campaigns
- Work with Sales, Merchandising, and Operations teams to ensure marketing supports inventory, pricing, fulfilment, and offline initiatives
Requirements:
- More than 10 years of progressive marketing experience
- More than 3 years of experience in a senior leadership role (Director or Head of Marketing)
- Proven experience in the Japanese e-commerce, fashion, or retail industry
- Deep expertise in digital marketing (Performance Marketing, SEO, SEM, Social Media) and brand building in a high-growth environment
- Demonstrated success in launching or scaling international brands in the Japanese market
- Strong analytical skills with a track record of using data to measure and
drive marketing ROI
Preferred requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience with a global or Korean fashion/lifestyle e-commerce platform.
- Passion for and deep knowledge of K-fashion, K-culture, and its influence on the Japanese market
- Fluent level written and verbal Japanese and English; proficient in Korean
