Head of Marketing and Client Engagement

A leading international investment banking organisation is seeking a Head of Marketing and Client Engagement. The successful candidate will lead local marketing strategy, brand development, and client engagement initiatives to drive business growth in Japan.

Responsibilities:

• Lead marketing planning in alignment with global strategy and local priorities
• Strengthen brand perception and awareness in the Japanese market
• Manage and execute marketing plans for the local website, ensuring clarity and impact
• Oversee external communications, public relations, and organic media activities
• Build and maintain relationships with key partners, affiliates, and influencers
• Manage the marketing budget to achieve growth and strong ROI across all channels
• Analyse website and campaign performance using tools like Adobe Analytics and Power BI
• Monitor client journey and competitors to enhance customer experience and conversion
• Provide local market insights on competition, media, regulation, and industry trends
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimise lead generation and conversion strategies
• Ensure compliance of all marketing content with local regulations
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for product and feature launches

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• Experience with marketing campaign planning, execution, and evaluation
• Prior experience analysing website performance using analytical tools (Adobe Analytics, or similar providers)
• Understanding of the financial industry and investment services is ideal
• Knowledge of digital and offline marketing for client acquisition
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Fluent level Japanese and English
