An international beverage manufacturer is searching for a Marketing Director. The chosen applicant will define long-term strategies, guide annual brand planning processes, and ensure the high-quality execution of plans.
Responsibilities:
- Define long-term portfolio & marketing strategy and guide the annual brand planning process
- Inspire and lead the marketing organisation, strengthening the team’s capabilities and instilling a culture of high ethical standards
- Ensure effective execution and evaluation of brand plans with accurate budget planning & management
- Build productive external partnerships with a team of marketing agencies for creative development, media planning and placement, PR, event production, etc.
- Collaborate with and influence internal cross-functional partners and senior stakeholders
- Serve on the Japan Leadership Team, influencing country strategy and overall organisation direction
Requirements:
- More than 10 years of marketing experience
- Experience marketing for FMCG, luxury goods, beverages, or emotional lifestyle or image brands
- Practical experience in a multinational company (U.S. or European company is preferred)
- Familiarity with relevant channels (supermarkets, CVS, GMS, e-commerce, bars, restaurants, hotels)
- Successful track record of success in senior marketing roles in international companies in Japan
- Business level written and verbal English and Japanese
