商業マネージャー/ Commercial Manager
A multinational FMCG company is seeking a Commercial Manager. The selected candidate will lead strategic planning, manage key accounts, and build strong partnerships to achieve growth targets.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic planning and annual operating plan (AOP) process
- Collaborate with business partners and category teams to deliver business growth and financial targets
- Ensure effective communication and timely execution of business plans with partners
- Expand the product portfolio in line with Japanese market needs, including regulatory and supply chain considerations
- Share global programs and best practices to strengthen local market performance
- Track and report business performance metrics and results
- Work with regional category teams on new product approvals, including packaging artwork
- Coordinate key events, meetings, and visits with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide customer-centric service and sales expertise in direct and warehouse channels
- Lead business planning and AOP deliverables
- Develop and execute national initiatives, innovations, and account-specific programs
- Create and sell annual joint business plans using shopper insights and data analysis
- Manage communication and relationships with key accounts and internal teams
- Collaborate across forecasting, finance, logistics, and customer service functions
- Ensure timely communication of customer plans to maximise execution and sales
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in business administration or related disciplines
- More than 10 years of experience in sales, strategic planning, brand marketing, or related areas
- Proven experience in FMCG, food industry and global account management experience preferred
- Cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management experience
- Experience with franchise management (licensing, JV, or similar models) preferred
- Fluent level Japanese and English
