An international fashion icon is searching for a talented bilingual Japanese/English speaker with brand management experience to join them as the Brand Marketing Manager. In this exciting role, the successful candidate will develop innovative and successful regional marketing strategies for a respected global brand.
- Design, develop and deliver short and long term regional brand marketing strategies based on business and consumer insights for the entire company portfolio and identify the correct allocation of regional brand marketing funds across markets
- Drive and lead internal and external agencies to develop regional marketing programs; guide Japan marketing teams in local execution across the region
- Collaborate with the key marketing staff functions including digital marketing, brand communication, retail marketing, brand merchandising, brand creative and store design to ensure that the company is consistently delivering against the service leader corporate proposition via efficient processes, reduced time to market and engaging/inspiring shopping experiences linked across all touch points for the company’s consumers
- Develop a Japan planned brand marketing concept which provides the consistent brand experience of the company by translating situation analysis, brand equity study, media and consumer trends to actionable insights that contribute to the localization of the global marketing strategy
- Jointly establish and foster a collaborative, inspiring and energetic leadership style that promotes initiative and entrepreneurial thinking in line with the corporate shared values of honesty and trust
- Brand, people and agency management experience
- Experience with women’s fashion or beauty businesses
- Basic IT skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Business language skills in Both Japanese and English
