アソシエイトディレクター/ Associate Director (Senior Research Manager)

A multinational market research organisation is looking for an Associate Director. The chosen applicant will be overseeing the entire process of report publishing - from defining scope to final publication preparation.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the whole process of report publishing, including defining the report scope, designing and executing consumer quantitative research, analysing information, developing inferences, generating insights with solid business implications, constructing and writing content in Japanese
• Manage a team of 2-4 analysts who execute specified operations
• Network with global category analysts to stay updated about the latest information
• Oversee the category team’s schedule, ensuring that reports are produced in a timely manner
• Provide editorial support to improve the quality of content produced by junior members of the team as necessary
• Train and coach team members to develop their functional capability as well as people skills
• Handle client service requests related to the contents
• Support the commercial team to proactively share insights with clients and prospects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 5 years of experience in consumer research, marketing intelligence, communication, promotion planning, or relevant
• Experience of people management
• Excellent knowledge of food and drink
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Proficient in written and verbal Japanese; business level English
