EHSスペシャリスト/ EHS Specialist

An international healthcare company is looking for an EHS Specialist. The selected candidate will implement EHS policies, conduct risk assessments, manage safety programs, and support compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure site safety by conducting daily patrols and managing the Tokyo office's health and safety
• Manage safety programs, employee training, and risk management assessments in safety, occupational health, and environmental management
• Coordinate incident investigations, corrective actions, and closure
• Administer and deliver EHS training programs for employees
• Manage regulatory permits, audits, and EHS documentation
• Respond to hazardous chemical emergencies, provide first aid and CPR, and act as emergency coordinator
• Lead EHS committee meetings and participate in facility inspections
• Support waste management, respirator fit testing, and waste minimisation practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a science or technical field
• More than 2 years of EHS-related experience in chemical, biological, radiation, or equivalent fields
• Proven experience in developing or managing safety programs
• Skilled in MS Office Suite and strong document management skills
• Possess a valid Class 1 Health and Safety Manager (第一種衛生管理者)
• Fluent level Japanese and English
