プロセス開発サイエンティスト / Process Development Scientist

A renowned international pharmaceutical company is looking for a Process Development Scientist. The selected candidate will support scientific client projects, focusing on bioprocess technology and downstream process development.

Responsibilities:

• Provide scientific support by planning and executing experimental projects at client sites
• Ensure good documentation practices by writing detailed reports for conducted studies
• Support client teams with screening and optimising bioprocess technologies like normal and tangential flow filtration, chromatography, and more
• Build long-term client relationships by discussing trials and demonstrating scientific expertise
• Assist in testing new technologies at customer sites
• Contribute to technical publications, industry conferences, and internal/external training

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent scientific or technical degree
• More than 5 years of experience in the field of biologics, bioprocess development in the bioprocessing industry
• Understanding of the biopharma process (Cell culture, filtration, and purification)
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Native level Japanese; proficient in written and verbal English
