エクスターナルエンゲージメントマネージャー/ External Engagement Manager

A global pharmaceutical company is seeking an External Engagement Manager. The selected candidate will analyse the healthcare landscape, influence policy, and enhance access to treatments.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse the medical and social security environment to optimise patient access to company’s pipeline and existing products
• Promote rapid response in emergencies by engaging key stakeholders in preparation for new disease concepts
• Manage regulatory actions, including DPC status optimisation for hospital use drugs and intractable disease designation for orphan therapies
• Improve systems for chronic disease treatment, focusing on online prescription, home delivery, and self-injection options
• Enhance brand reputation in Japan, showcasing initiatives in Sustainability, DE&I, and Women of Childbearing Age data development
• Establish and manage partnerships with government and multi-stakeholder organisations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in healthcare policy, public health, health economics, or a related field
• More than 5 years of experience in ethical drug business
• Practical experience in policy & government affairs, market access strategy, or related healthcare field
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and build relationships with government and industry stakeholders
• Possess a valid MBA qualification is desired
• Proficient in written and verbal Japanese (English is a plus)
