日本メディカルアフェアーズリード/ Japan Medical Affairs Lead

A global biopharmaceutical company is looking for a Japan Medical Affairs Lead. The selected candidate will lead Japan medical affairs planning and execution, drive scientific engagement, support evidence generation, and partner cross-functionally to deliver compliant medical initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop the Japan Medical Affairs plan in line with global and local strategies
• Execute medical tactics and operational activities across the annual plan
• Lead advisory boards with local and international medical affairs stakeholders
• Build relationships with principal investigators, key external experts, medical societies, and patient advocacy groups
• Drive publication planning, congress activities, and scientific communication initiatives
• Deliver scientific training, medical support, and compliant input for cross-functional teams and external materials

Requirements:

• Advanced degree or above (PhD, MPH or MD is ideal)
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical and/or biotech industry
• Knowledge Japanese regulatory, compliance, and ethical standards governing Medical Affairs activities
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Proficient in English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience working for a US company and/or fast-paced company
• Prior Medical Affairs experience
• Proven Launch experience
• Understanding of rare disease
