コーディネーター看護師/ Coordinating Nurse

A global medical and health assistance services company is looking for a Coordinating Nurse. The selected candidate will coordinate medical assistance, referrals, and case management while ensuring appropriate clinical care and insurance coverage decisions for government-affiliated patients.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and assess medical-related calls from patients and stakeholders
• Collect medical, logistical, and collateral case information to support appropriate referrals
• Coordinate medical referrals to suitable facilities, specialities, and providers
• Provide telephone medical assessments and monitor treatment appropriateness
• Conduct medical due diligence for insurance coverage and treatment authorisation
• Communicate patient progress and medical recommendations to relevant parties
• Prepare accurate medical reports to support coverage and care decisions
• Liaise with treating physicians, medical officers, and facilities to expedite case management
• Maintain accurate and confidential case documentation and medical records
• Escalate complex or sensitive cases according to internal and program protocols
• Contribute to medical network development through provider information sharing and audits
• Support audits, site surveys, training, supervision, and continuous professional education
• Promote compliance with health, safety, ethics, and corporate policies

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of experience in acute care clinical settings, such as the ICU or ER
• Experience working as a registered nurse in a clinical environment
• Proven experience in medical assessment, referral coordination, and case management
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and Windows-based applications
• Possess a valid nursing registration in the country of service provision or a registered nurse qualification
• Ability and willingness to participate in local or international travel and weekend duties
• Fluent level Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Prior experience in medical assistance services
• Possess a valid advanced specialist qualification in Intensive Care or Emergency Nursing
