医療アドバイザー/ Medical Advisor

An international pharmaceutical company is looking for a Medical Advisor. The selected candidate will plan and execute clinical development and medical affairs activities, supporting therapeutic strategies and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement medical activities based on insights from external experts and MSLs
• Build scientific evidence through clinical/pre-clinical research, investigator-initiated studies, and RWE studies
• Prepare Integrated Asset Plans (IAP) and Detailed Annual Communication Plans aligned with global strategy
• Support development and data-building decisions in therapeutic areas, considering resource and budget constraints
• Provide robust medical guidance across clinical development phases to strengthen product profiles
• Support Japanese submissions and registrations in collaboration with regulatory and clinical teams
• Ensure Japanese clinical development plans align with global strategies
• Contribute to Clinical Data Packages (CDPs) and benefit/risk evaluations of products
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry rules, including promotional codes, fair competition, and data privacy

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or above in life sciences (MD or PhD ideal)
• Prior experience in clinical or research settings in liver-related, metabolic, obesity, or diabetes diseases
• Experience collaborating and managing key opinion leaders and external experts
• Knowledge of conceptualising pre-clinical or clinical research and developing scientific manuscripts
• Proficient in English (CEFR B2+)

Preferred requirements:

• Prior experience in medical product launches
• Experience with PMDA consultations, NDA filings, and product launches
• Knowledge of clinical research, clinical trials, and clinical development regulations
