メディカルアフェアーズマネージャー/ Medical Affairs Manager

A foreign pharmaceutical company is looking for a Medical Affairs Manager. The qualified candidate will develop the strategy and lead the tactical execution of key Medical Affairs deliverables in Japan.

Responsibilities:

• Drive implementation and delivery of regional priorities related to Evidence Generation, Dissemination, Medical Communications, and Medical Operations
• Develop and implement local SOPs
• Lead activities in local publications, medical education, medical training, and other medical communications deliverables
• Execute local advisory boards to gain insights for key disease areas
• Coordinate local review and approval of medical materials
• Build strong cross-functional relationships with global and regional teams across Medical Affairs, Commercial, Legal, and Regulatory functions
• Lead key meetings such as congresses, scientific and medical meetings, advisory boards, and sales meetings
• Support and drive business initiatives in alignment with medical objectives
• Perform other Medical Services-related activities and expanded functions as necessary

Requirements:

• Advanced scientific degree or above
• 5-7 years of relevant industry experience in Medical Affairs
• Experience in related functional areas such as Medical Information, Medical Communications, Publications, or Operations is highly desirable
• Experience in rare diseases is preferred
• Strong strategic, problem-solving, risk mitigation, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fluent level English and Japanese
