シニアサイエンティスト/ Senior Scientist

A pharmaceutical research company is looking for a Senior Scientist. The successful candidate will take part in the small molecule drug development and research pipeline improvement activities. This is a Tokyo-based position.

Responsibilities:

• Participate and co-direct the pre-clinical discovery programs
• Manage vitro biochemical and cell-based assays for the discovery of small molecule drugs
• Communicate with CROs, external academic, and commercial partners
• Engage in meetings and regularly coordinate with colleagues about plans and projects
• Collaborate across departments and oversee multiple initiatives
• Provide scientific findings, concepts, and techniques through discovery research literature analysis

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or above in biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology, or similar domain
• Practical experience with vitro assays
• 2-4 years of professional experience is ideal
• Background in biophysical characterisation and small molecule assays is advantageous
• Understanding of different preclinical oncology or inflammatory disease models is preferred
• Proficient in written and verbal English
