Commercial Operations Director

A renowned pharmaceutical company is seeking a Commercial Operations Director. The selected candidate will be responsible for driving product launch readiness, sales force effectiveness, and strategic alignment across functions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop initial targeting and field territory alignment based on sales and data sets
• Oversee product sales forecasting and implement sales training for the product launch
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute a comprehensive sales training strategy
• Design and deliver training programs to equip the sales team with essential product knowledge
• Optimise sales force effectiveness and monitor KPIs related to sales performance
• Develop incentive programs for the sales force and administrate all congress services

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in business, marketing, or life sciences
• More than 15 years of experience in commercial roles within the pharmaceutical industry
• Practical experience with targeting, field territory alignment, sales force effectiveness, and brand performance analytics
• Proven experience in sales forecasting, including rare disease product forecasting
• Strong leadership and hands-on management skills in commercial operations
• Possess a valid MBA qualification is a plus
• Native level Japanese; business level English
