A global pharmaceutical company is looking for a New Product Planning Manager for R&I Strategy and Business Operations. The selected candidate will lead the development of business cases, brand strategies, and commercial evaluations for new products and indications.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of business cases
- Develop and execute brand strategy and positioning for new indications/products
- Evaluate new products/indications commercially
- Provide commercial input for disease strategy development
- Assist key internal processes for new indications/products
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify new opportunities
- Engage key external experts and develop local activities for pre-launch and post-launch
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- More than 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing and related roles
- Practical experience in respiratory, biologics, or immunology
- Prior experience in new product planning and launch readiness preparation
- Experience as a market/business analyst
- Working knowledge of clinical trial/drug development process
- Previous global and in-country commercial experience, including pre-launch and launch of respiratory, biologics, and immunology products
- Background in developing compelling business cases with forecasts and commercial investment requirements
- Understanding of the development and commercialisation of pharmaceutical products in Japan
- Knowledge of the Japan healthcare environment
- Familiarity with technical risks and implications for commercial aspects of future brands
- Possess a valid MBA or PhD qualification is preferred
- Proficient in English
