Safety & PV Director

An international clinical solutions company is looking for a Director, Safety & Pharmacovigilance. The selected candidate will oversee global safety operations, strategic planning, and performance management to ensure compliance and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial performance, revenue growth, and budget management for Safety & Pharmacovigilance
• Provide operational and strategic leadership to deliver quality outcomes and customer value
• Direct and develop associates, ensuring professional growth and effective issue resolution
• Support business development through project proposals, budget approvals, and client relationships
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, regulations, GCP, ICH, and GVP guidelines
• Represent Safety & Pharmacovigilance in project teams, client meetings, audits, and inspections
• Drive process improvements, efficiency initiatives, and implementation of best practices globally
• Maintain professional expertise to provide value-added services to customers

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in biological sciences, natural sciences, health care, or nursing
• Prior Clinical Research Organisation (CRO) experience with therapeutic specialities preferred
• Progressive responsibility with demonstrated leadership and project management experience
• Working knowledge of financial budgets and financial analysis tools preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, email, and internet
• Ability and willingness for moderate travel
