An Epidemiology role is now open in an international biopharmaceutical company. The chosen applicant will be responsible for the methodological reliability and scientific robustness at all stages of research.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate Pharmacovigilance Plan strategies and PARCS from the preparation stage of new drug application
- Create study design concepts and clinical study protocols based on PVP strategies
- Identify clinical questions and structure them into research questions
- Conduct feasibility assessments for PARCS
- Oversee the preparation of interim and final reports
- Lead the planning and execution of external presentations
- Provide a robust literature review and perform critical appraisals of published studies
Requirements:
- MPH or MSc with equivalent experience in pharmacoepidemiology, epidemiology or related health science field (PhD is preferred)
- Strong background in epidemiological theory and methods, including appropriate use of medical statistics to solve problems in epidemiology
- Conceptual understanding of secondary data or primary data collection studies
- Prior experience as an epidemiologist in the industry or regulatory authorities is a plus
- Good therapeutic and disease area knowledge and knowledge of drug development and life cycle management
- Native level Japanese; business level English
