部門マネージャー/ Department Manager

An international laboratory services provider is seeking a Department Manager. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day operations and personnel to ensure the high-quality, on-time delivery of clinical testing services.

Responsibilities:

• Provide managerial leadership to the local department staff
• Communicate company goals and departmental strategies
• Manage all day-to-day production and non-production operations
• Ensure testing quality and on-time delivery of services
• Maintain an adequate number of trained and competent staff to match workload requirements
• Ensure client satisfaction and meet established quality measures
• Respond to quality issues including QTM, PT, and QCSR in a timely manner
• Support the local director or associate director in the fulfilment of their responsibilities
• Participate in and support client visits, audits, and inquiries
• Monitor and report performance results against targets and global standards
• Ensure regulatory compliance within the local department
• Coordinate departmental activities with other functional areas and Global Laboratory Support Services
• Assist in the establishment of globally consistent production standards
• Support Six Sigma and other process improvement initiatives
• Recruit, train, develop, and retain supervisory resources
• Convert volume forecasts into specific personnel resource needs
• Plan, schedule, and monitor technical training for departmental staff
• Support marketing and sales efforts to meet specific client requests

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Biology, Chemistry, Life Science, or Medical Technology
• 6-10 years of experience in a laboratory following clinical training
• More than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within a clinical laboratory environment
• Knowledge of clinical laboratory operations and quality measures
• Fluent level English

Preferred requirements:

• Master’s degree or PhD in a scientific discipline or business administration
• Possess a valid professional certification such as ASCP, AABB, or other relevant qualification in area of expertise
