Plant Director

An international biomedical testing company is looking for a Plant Director. The selected candidate will lead manufacturing operations, drive productivity improvements, and oversee plant performance aligned with global strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations and manufacturing processes
• Manage production schedules to meet customer demand and ensure timely delivery
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal policies
• Collaborate with the quality team to maintain product standards
• Drive productivity through the implementation of lean tools and methodologies
• Manage budgets, allocate resources, and implement cost-saving measures
• Set and execute policies and goals for operational excellence
• Lead annual operational planning in alignment with global strategies
• Develop, coach, and lead the plant operations team
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or related field
• More than 20 years of experience in relevant industries
• More than 10 years in managerial roles
• Proven experience in manufacturing or supply chain management
• Ability to drive financial and operational performance in collaboration with finance teams
• Professional level Japanese and English
