A global theme park and entertainment company is looking for a Purchasing Planning (Acting Section Manager). The selected candidate will manage purchasing operations, develop category strategies, and lead a team while coordinating with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Formulate and implement category purchasing strategies and cost reduction projects
• Develop and manage new vendor relationships, including specifications, pricing, and delivery negotiations
• Oversee and improve purchasing processes
• Coordinate and negotiate with relevant internal departments to secure agreements
• Conduct vendor risk assessment and management
• Lead subordinate development and team management
• Manage internal stakeholder relationships

Requirements:

• Practical experience in purchasing and sourcing work, including data collection, analysis, competitive bidding, and price negotiation
• Experience in planning category purchasing strategies
• Prior experience in subordinate training and team management
• Experience in internal stakeholder management
• Proficient in logical thinking and interpersonal relationship building
• Professional level Japanese and English
