バイヤー/ Buyer

A multinational automotive company is looking for a Buyer. The selected candidate will manage procurement activities, drive cost reductions, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimise purchasing strategies. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare samples for testing and manage steel (damper) procurement
• Improve site competitiveness through cost-reduction initiatives
• Define and implement technical, re-sourcing, and logistics productivity strategies
• Support commodity organisation to achieve site negotiation objectives
• Monitor supplier relationships and ensure compliance with purchasing standards
• Develop and execute mitigation action plans for procurement challenges

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of experience in procurement and purchasing
• Practical experience in handling steel-related products preferred
• Prior purchasing experience in the automotive industry is a plus
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Business level Japanese; conversation level written and reading English
