エンジンバイヤー/ Engine Buyer

An Engine Buyer position is available at an international automotive company. The successful applicant will be serving as a buyer that utilises resources toward a long-term supply solution. This position is based in Tokyo.

Responsibilities:

• Perform negotiations with vendors based abroad and other industries
• Oversee non-captive complete engine vendors
• Act as the driving force in negotiating the transition from internal combustion to electric drive
• Serve as the procurement representative in powertrain-related initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in business, economics, or engineering (automotive is preferred)
• Experience as a buyer
• Understanding of purchasing procedures or consultant in a consultancy business
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Proven experience in automotive business with an OEM or Tier-1 component manufacturer
• Fluent level English; proficient in Japanese is ideal
