バイヤー/ Buyer

An international electronics manufacturer is looking to fill a Buyer position. The qualified applicant will manage new product sourcing and supplier coordination for successful launches. This position is based in Ibaraki.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee key vendors in cost, quality, delivery, and service
• Establish and implement a yearly cost-reduction plan
• Assist key managers with evaluation, reducing expenses, and supplier consolidation
• Select new vendors and perform contract negotiation
• Oversee efficient lead time and MOQ in cooperation with a key team
• Manage supplier information and prices using SAP

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• 5-7 years of experience in direct material procurement
• Excellent project management skills
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Background in SAP is preferred
• Proficient in reading, written, and verbal English
