プログラムバイヤー/ Program Buyer

A global automotive parts supplier is searching for a Program Buyer. The chosen candidate will be responsible for driving BOP cost reduction activities to meet OI targets in the assigned program.

Responsibilities:

• Drive QCD management of adopted parts in adherence to the development process
• Work on BOM cost reduction
• Perform BOM analysis for acquisition orientation committee
• Obtain confirmation of required specifications to support R&D efforts
• Ensure efficient preparation of the supplier nomination committee
• Deliver letter of recommendation after SNC
• Lead negotiations of sample lead times as required
• Track BOM cost and conduct follow up from acquisition to SOP

Requirements:

• 5+ years of practical experience in sales within a similar industry or strategic sourcing company
• Expertise in semiconductors, electric components, module components and related technology, manufacturing cost and industry trends
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and information gathering skills
• Ability to adapt in an international and multicultural environment
• Business level written and spoken English and Japanese
