購買スペシャリスト/ Purchasing Specialist

A worldwide biopharmaceutical firm is searching for a Purchasing Specialist. The ideal candidate will be in charge of identifying, negotiating, contracting, and procuring goods and services. This a long-term direct contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the deployment of the competitive bidding procedure
• Gain knowledge of the firm’s buying channels and contracting policies
• Deploy enhanced buying practices to maintain supply chain sufficiency
• Prepare and negotiate confidentiality agreements
• Manage relevant files and records
• Boost the company’s sourcing tactics
• Ensure relevant invoice problems are resolved

Requirements:

• Practical experience in SAP or purchasing systems
• Working knowledge of contract management and e-sourcing tools
• Functional understanding of purchasing to pay process
• Expertise in inventory management
• Skilled in document retention
• Business level English; native level Japanese
