ソーシングスペシャリスト/ Sourcing Specialist

An international biopharmaceutical company is seeking a Sourcing Specialist. The selected candidate will execute sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, drive cost optimisation, and ensure compliance while supporting procurement activities across assigned commodities. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Execute commodity strategies at local level aligned with global sourcing objectives
• Manage sourcing activities including contract negotiation and supplier relationship management
• Collaborate with category management to refine and implement sourcing strategies
• Drive spend consolidation, cost optimisation, and sourcing efficiency initiatives
• Track sourcing performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities
• Partner with business stakeholders to align sourcing priorities and support business goals
• Coordinate sourcing projects based on demand forecasts and business needs
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and business partners
• Identify and mitigate sourcing risks to ensure business continuity
• Manage supplier performance through monitoring, negotiations, and issue resolution
• Support supplier business reviews focusing on market insights and innovation
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements including GxP
• Handle day-to-day sourcing challenges and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in business, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing or a related field
• Experience in category management, procurement, or related field
• Experience in self-enabled buying
• Supplier management experience
• Advanced skills in contract development and management
• Knowledge of sourcing approaches
• Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical industry
• Professional level Japanese and English
