調達マネージャー/ Procurement Manager

An international eCommerce company is seeking a Procurement Manager. The selected candidate will lead product strategy, procurement, and supplier management for the company’s subscription service and online shop.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and execution of attractive, high-margin product lineups based on market insights and trends
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimise sourcing, cost management, and supplier relationships
• Monitor global demand trends, popular products, and supply chain innovations to stay ahead of market needs
• Identify and collaborate with unique suppliers, local producers, and niche vendors to create differentiated offerings
• Manage and mentor buyer and assistant teams while driving cross-functional collaboration to achieve sales goals
• Analyse pricing trends, sales data, and inventory to guide product strategy and improve performance
• Build strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers while managing inventory levels and expiration dates
• Partner with Product, Logistics, E-commerce, and Marketing teams to support promotions, product launches, and brand value enhancement

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field
• 3–5 years of experience in international trade, purchasing, procurement, product planning, category management, or EC/grocery operations (management experience required)
• Proven experience managing buyers or procurement teams
• Experience in international procurement, import/export, and process improvement
• Skilled in Shopify, Slack, AirTable, ShipHero, Notion, Asana, or similar tools
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets (INDEX-MATCH, VLOOKUP, etc.)
• Must be currently based in Tokyo
• Native level Japanese; business level English
