Sourcing & Procurement Director

A leading entertainment company is seeking a Director of Sourcing & Procurement. This role will lead procurement strategy and operations across various park divisions, ensuring efficiency, cost optimisation, and strong vendor partnerships.

Responsibilities:

• Lead sourcing and procurement for multiple categories, including Technology, Construction, Entertainment, Marketing, and Food
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet savings targets and optimise procurement processes
• Drive supplier negotiations, manage vendor relationships, and oversee procurement systems
• Establish procurement governance, ensuring quality standards and best practices
• Lead change management initiatives for procurement strategy implementation
• Collaborate with global sourcing teams to enhance procurement cost efficiency
• Utilise process improvement methodologies like Six Sigma and data analytics for cost optimisation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or Business (Master’s preferred)
• More than 10 years leading global sourcing/procurement teams in large organisations
• Experience managing large-scale projects and leading cross-functional teams
• Proven ability to negotiate at executive levels and drive cost-saving initiatives
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Possess valid professional certifications (CPM, CPIM) preferred
• Bilingual level Japanese and English
