コモディティマネージャー/ Commodity Manager

An international semiconductor company is searching for a Commodity Manager. The chosen applicant will be responsible for managing assigned commodities and suppliers meet the company's business needs. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned commodities and suppliers in Japan
• Work with other Commodity Team members globally to enable synergy in actions and excellence in procurement practices
• Source, develop and manage suppliers and assigned commodities to achieve cost optimisation and continuity of supply
• Build commodity strategies and relationships with suppliers
• Participate in New Product Introductions programs
• Interface and develop relationships with high-level executives as well as internal stakeholders

Requirements:

• Experience in managing related commodities within the semiconductor ecosystem or other industrial or B2B industries
• Proven track record in developing sourcing strategies to enable a high performing global supply base
• Ability to drive supply chain cost effectively facilitating business growth
• Resourcefulness in formulating solutions with the team to manage situations that might arise
• Strong communication skills
• Native level Japanese; business level English
