調達マネージャー/ Procurement Manager

A renowned global food brand is searching for a Procurement Manager. The selected candidate will be in charge of supervising daily operations, implementing procurement strategies, and driving cost reduction. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction by developing and implementing sourcing strategies
• Deliver functional excellence through supplier performance reviews and corrective action plans
• Support new product launches by interfacing with cross-functional teams
• Develop and enhance purchasing workflow processes to improve cost or meet compliance requirements
• Meet financial targets by leading cross-functional groups to develop productivity programs
• Support company values by building and recruiting a highly skilled functional team

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of experience in managing procurement, purchasing, or product merchandising in retail, wholesale or manufacturing companies
• Technical knowledge about purchasing, supplier management, contract management and formal RFQ/RFQ process for bidding
• Understanding of the food manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of numerous product and packaging manufacturing processes
• Experience in logistics and supply planning is preferred
• Proficient in written Japanese and English
