An international procurement company is searching for a Country Manager. The successful candidate will represent the Supply Chain & Services and Procurement teams in planning, stakeholder management, people, and project management activities.
Responsibilities:
- Collate supplier partner, market, distribution, and internal business data
- Provide in-depth input and validation to the Category and Supply Chain Strategy
- Develop a pipeline of category initiatives and opportunities to meet significant targets
- Ensure generation of monthly metrics reports
- Ensure a robust approach to Supplier Partner Performance and lead category specific projects
- Establish value creation targets with key supplier partners within the category
- Oversee reporting of supplier partner performance against goals
- Ensure that any supplier partner performance risks and issues are resolved
Requirements:
- More than 10 years of in-depth strategic and operational procurement or supply chain experience with a solid working knowledge of category management
- Several years of overall business experience, including working within a regulated industry
- Practical experience in international strategic sourcing or category management
- Direct experience in managing category management projects and development of sourcing strategies
- Understanding of offshore operating environments (Captive, Build Operate Transfer, Managed Service, Functional, & Full-Service concepts)
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Possess valid post graduate business-related qualification
- Fluent level English
