フレイト＆ディストリビューションシニアスペシャリスト/ Freight & Distribution Sr Spec.

A global healthcare company is looking for a Freight & Distribution Senior Specialist. The selected candidate will oversee warehouse and 3PL distribution activities, manage inventory and shipping processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day warehouse activity including receiving, inspection, inventory management, picking, and shipping
• Manage service quality by addressing delivery delays, errors, and damages
• Coordinate communication with 3PL vendors on internal and external customer matters
• Partner with 3PL vendors for inbound and outbound customs management
• Manage expired and damaged products including isolation and disposal
• Track, report, and analyse performance metrics including KPIs and cost control
• Drive continuous Kaizen and process improvements to enhance safety, cost efficiency, and fulfilment
• Follow, revise, and update SOPs to align with ISO and SOX requirements
• Ensure QMS-aligned operations and management (ISO 13485 / QSR / QMS Ordinance)
• Resolve multi-functional issues between SAP/WMS systems and physical products

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience in logistics within a medical device, pharmaceutical, or scientific manufacturing environment
• 3-5 years of experience in highly regulated warehousing
• Experience in 3PL, vendor, or service provider management
• ERP and SAP-WMS interfacing experience
• Experience participating in cross-functional projects
• Business level English; professional level Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• Understanding of Six Sigma or comparable continuous improvement methodologies
