A renowned medical equipment manufacturing company is looking for a Global Sr. Logistics Analyst. The selected candidate will strengthen global logistics operations by resolving transport issues, optimising regional performance, managing providers, and advancing ESG and digital control-tower initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Support regional logistics operations by coordinating with regions and carriers to resolve issues quickly
• Lead global transportation service bidding by aligning with indirect procurement and external providers
• Support onboarding and operational setup with international logistics service providers
• Drive transportation optimisation by enabling regions with accurate forecasts, plans, and global support
• Track cargo KPIs (cost, schedule reliability) to manage service provider performance
• Advance ESG logistics initiatives by measuring CO2 emissions and initiating reduction actions

Requirements:

• Business level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Proficient in statistical analysis to identify trends, forecast capacity needs,
  and model the impact of volatility (like the JP-DE lane's high failure rate) on cost
• Skilled in SQL for complex data visualization
• Ability to simulate the effects of changes before implementation
• Ability to create and evaluate multiple "what-if" scenarios
