製品・物流マネージャー/ Product & Logistics Manager

An international fresh fruit distributor is looking for a Product & Logistics Manager. The selected candidate will lead product planning, export/import logistics, and team management while ensuring quality, efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration across the supply chain.

Responsibilities:

• Develop competitive product specifications and implementation plans for core products while collaborating with Quality Assurance to drive farm-level improvements and analyse production variances
• Manage end-to-end export and import logistics, including vessel schedules, load allocation, procurement of farm materials, and documentation accuracy
• Oversee strategic product management, including supplier relations, procurement, quality improvements, claims handling, and market research to support business planning
• Maintain and update ERP master data to support accurate inventory and sales management
• Lead the Product & Logistics Division by setting goals, managing performance, developing capabilities, and standardising skills and safety practices
• Build cross-functional alignment with Procurement, Sales, Customer Service, Finance, IT, and external logistics partners while reporting progress and issues to leadership
• Support global business operations through domestic and international travel, customer hosting, farm visits, and visiting guest coordination
• Monitor KPIs including OTIF, inventory accuracy, logistics performance, quality deviation rates, lead times, productivity, and safety compliance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 5 years of hands-on experience in logistics, warehousing, and distribution management
• More than 3 years of experience in product planning
• More than 3 years of team management experience
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
• Native level Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Prior experience handling fresh and temperature‑controlled products
• Experience operating IT tools such as Power BI
• Expertise clearance, import operations, repacking, and logistics processes
