物流アシスタントマネージャー/ Logistics Assistant Manager

A global packaged food company is looking for an Assistant Manager, Logistics. The selected candidate will manage end-to-end logistics operations, coordinate cross-functional teams, and optimise supply chain processes. This is a long-term contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute logistics strategies aligned with overall business direction
• Lead demand forecasting for imported and domestic products and liaise with factories on updates
• Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Coordinate with regional teams, 3PL warehouse, co-packers, and external stakeholders to ensure timely shipments and smooth order fulfilment
• Manage material orders, defective stock, and warehouse inspection and domestic delivery processes
• Review and verify invoices, validate billing quantities, and support internal system processes for stock movement and sales order tracking
• Oversee shipping documentation, customs clearance, and compliance with FTA and TPP11 requirements
• Manage internal and external audits, ensuring regulatory compliance and timely resolution of findings

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• More than 5 years of logistics or supply chain operations experience in FMCG or commercial environment
• Experience working with ERP or internal systems for inventory and order management
• Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain management, including logistics, procurement, inventory, and distribution processes
• Strong understanding of international trade regulations and shipping documentation
• Fluent level written and verbal Japanese and English
