ロジスティクスアシスタントマネージャー/ Logistics Assistant Manager

An international food and beverage company is seeking a Logistics Assistant Manager. The selected candidate will manage daily logistics tasks, vendor performance, and cost optimisation, while also driving team engagement and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day logistics operations and resolve logistics-related issues efficiently
• Oversee logistics service providers (LSP) vendors’ performance and maintain regular communication
• Collaborate with the planning department to manage repacking operations at the warehouse
• Coordinate with supply planning and sales teams to manage domestic stock transfers
• Lead initiatives for logistics cost optimisation (storage, handling, flight to customer, inbound, etc.)
• Conduct monthly invoice operations for LSP vendors
• Drive continuous improvement in logistics operations for enhanced service levels
• Ensure compliance with logistics quality standards, including pest control and distribution quality management
• Collaborate across functions to improve supply chain performance
• Foster team engagement and contribute to talent development through coaching and peer assist

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management
• Experience in supplier management and logistics operations in FMCG
• Proficient in logistics management and business process improvement
• Knowledge of quality management in logistics
• Strong analytical and commercial awareness skills
• Professional level Japanese; business level English (TOEIC 700+)
