品質スペシャリスト/ Quality Specialist

A global industrial engineering company is looking for a Quality Specialist. The selected candidate will ensure zero-defect outflow through rigorous inspection, reporting, and root cause analysis for spare parts, tooling, and modernisation projects.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct visual and dimensional firewall inspections for spare parts and upgrade projects
• Identify conforming and non-conforming parts and manage quarantine and labelling
• Inspect kits, shelf-life items, and packaging and perform repacking as required
• Coordinate daily inspection reporting and non-conformance communication with stakeholders
• Lead Clinic Level 1 activities, including first aid actions and issue tracking to closure
• Perform root cause analysis using structured quality tools with cross-functional teams
• Prepare inspection and non-conformance reports with data and photo documentation
• Manage supplier non-conformance communication and disposition coordination
• Maintain inspection standards, quality alerts, and clinic documentation
• Support parts handling, storage, dispatch coordination, and 5S audits

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering or related technical field
• 5–6 years of hands-on experience in quality or service within manufacturing, heavy machinery, or automotive industries
• Experience in visual and dimensional inspection and root cause analysis
• Proficient in using inspection tools such as Vernier micrometre, height gauge, dial gauge, and bore gauge
• Skilled in MS Excel and basic ERP systems
• Ability and willingness to perform parts handling, lifting, and mechanical inspection activities
• Professional level Japanese; proficient in written and verbal English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in service quality or supplier quality
• Possess valid quality certifications (Certified Quality Engineer or ISO Internal Auditor
