EHSマネージャー/ EHS Manager

An international eCommerce company is looking for an EHS Manager. The selected candidate will lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives, ensuring legal compliance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement across operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement EHS policies and objectives in compliance with corporate standards and local laws
• Manage occupational health and safety programs to prevent workplace accidents and maintain employee health
• Conduct risk assessments, implement countermeasures, and investigate industrial accidents
• Oversee health checkups, stress checks, and workplace safety equipment, including fire prevention measures
• Organise training programs and promote health and safety awareness among employees
• Coordinate with internal departments and engage with relevant government authorities
• Record, maintain, and manage EHS data and performance metrics
• Operate the Health and Safety Committee and support continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience in EHS-related roles
• Experience dealing with government authorities such as the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and fire departments
• Possess a valid Completion of Safety Manager and Fire Prevention Manager training, or recognised equivalent; Holder of Class II or Class I Health Supervisor Licence, or Hygiene Engineering Health Supervisor Licence
• Fluent level Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in logistics, delivery, or manufacturing industries
• EHS experience in multinational or foreign-affiliated companies
• Experience working in startups or fast-paced environments
• Business level Korean
