サプライヤー品質エンジニア/ Supplier Quality Engineer

An international automotive company is looking for an SQE. The selected candidate will function as a technical liaison to resolve supplier quality issues, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvements in quality, service, and cost.

Responsibilities:

• Assess supplier quality systems and perform on-site audits at manufacturing locations
• Ensure suppliers understand and comply with quality requirements
• Monitor and support supplier implementation of APQP and PPAP for flawless launch
• Develop and execute plans to confirm the supplier's quoted capacity
• Monitor and improve supplier quality performance during development and production
• Support suppliers in identifying and resolving quality issues throughout the product lifecycle

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Welding, Plastics, Material, Chemical)
• Practical experience as Supplier Quality Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, Quality Control Engineer, Quality Management System internal auditor, or Manufacturing Engineer in the automotive industry
• Hands-on experience implementing APQP, PPAP, and Run@Rate/OEE
• Experience in problem-solving tools such as 8D, Red X, DFSS, FTA, 5-Why, Fishbone
• Knowledge of Core Tools, FMEA, SPC, and MSA
• Proficient in print reading, part measurement, and gage design
• Knowledge of AIAG CQI Special Process Audit preferred
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Possess a valid IATF Supplier Auditor Certification is a plus
• Native level Japanese; proficient in written and verbal English
