Head of QHSE & Training

A multinational aviation services company is seeking a Head of QHSE & Training. The selected candidate will manage the Safety Management System and drive workforce development initiatives to support operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the organisation’s safety performance and incident response
• Define and implement the QHSE strategy and support local stations
• Coordinate safety meetings and calls with key operational leaders
• Prepare and present safety performance reports for management
• Maintain and update safety documentation, including the Safety Manual
• Build and manage an independent Safety & Security team
• Oversee and drive risk mitigation actions listed in the safety plan
• Ensure access to effective safety management training
• Develop and execute a training strategy aligned with operational needs
• Assess training requirements across stations and resolve skill gaps
• Innovate and improve training quality and delivery methods

Requirements:

• Experience in safety and quality is ideal
• Ground handling experience is a plus
• Leadership and management background
• Ability to respond with agility to operational risks and incidents
• Proficient in written and verbal English; Japanese is a plus
