A global air conditioning manufacturer is looking for a Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing supplier quality assessments, collaborating on improvements, and ensuring adherence to company standards.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality assurance assessments for OEM/ODM suppliers to ensure compliance with company standards and specifications
• Collaborate with suppliers to address quality issues, implement improvements, and ensure adherence to safety and performance requirements
• Manage quality control processes related to welding quality, electrical control accuracy, and machine performance longevity
• Perform regular audits of supplier production facilities to evaluate quality systems and processes
• Analyse product quality data and trends to identify areas for improvement in supplier performance
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective actions for quality issues
• Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices to enhance the quality assurance process

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• 5-8 years of experience in quality assurance and quality management
• Experience with HVAC systems (wall mounted and VRF units, and light commercial equipment)
• Skilled in welding quality and precision in manufacturing equipment
• Familiarity with the requirements of residential and light commercial buildings, including villas and office equipment setups
• Fluent level Japanese and English
