SCMプロジェクトマネージャー/ SCM Project Manager

A global manufacturing company is seeking an SCM Project Manager. The selected candidate will lead strategic supply chain initiatives, drive digital transformation, optimise physical flow, and manage innovation projects to enhance efficiency, resilience, and business growth. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Align business ambitions with strategic supply chain initiatives to support growth and performance
• Identify and prioritise supply chain strategies to optimise cost, visibility, and resilience
• Lead digital transformation initiatives across the supply chain through adoption of new technologies
• Drive integration of digital tools to enhance process efficiency and data-driven decision-making
• Design and execute initiatives to upgrade supply chain physical flow and network efficiency
• Improve logistics performance, inventory management, and responsiveness across the supply chain
• Manage supply chain innovation pipeline and implement industry best practices
• Establish project management frameworks to support execution of strategic initiatives
• Collaborate with internal leadership teams to align supply chain strategies with business goals
• Engage with external partners including consultants and solution providers to drive innovation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Operations or related field (Business or Supply Chain)
• More than 10 years of experience in supply chain management
• More than 2 years of experience in supply chain digital transformation
• More than 3 years of experience in complex project management
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, logistics, and planning
• Understanding of supply chain optimisation methodologies and industry best practices
• Experience in digital transformation tools and platforms including ERP and analytics systems
• Strong data analysis skills using tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI tools
• Experience in project management methodologies and tools
• Professional level Japanese and English
